Dark Star RHR
By the young Donnerhall son, Domiro. Domiro is out of the proven successful breeding combination between Donnerhall and Pik Bube I. At his stallion testing in Adelheidsdorf in 1998, Domiro received a 8 for his trot and a 9 for his walk. His offspring have also been high scoring foals at inspections and shows. Prinz Gaylord, Dark Star RHR's (AKA Stella) dam sire, is a proven competitor and producer of jumpers. The German FN declared him Germany's leading sire in 1983. He has been the most consistent producer of jumpers in the US, and has International jumping acclaim to his record.
Dark Star RHR was awarded Reserve Champion Filly at her Hanoverian Inspection at Stargate Sporthorses on July 27, 2004. Ludwig Christmann, the inspector, and also the Deputy Breeding Manager of the Hanoverian Verband in Germany, stated Stella is "a good type filly, a nice head, a very nicely shaped neck......This foal is very rectangular, very well muscled with a good hind leg,... she uses her hind leg well, not only when she kicks, but also when she trots." *Ha!haha!* "Her trot is really uphill, with lots of freedom in the shoulder and very active from behind. This filly is very interesting...." *(This comment from Dr. Ludwig Christmann, and response from the spectators was made because of her enthusiasm and happy attitude as well as her elastic movement in the arena during her inspection!)
Stella has the perfect mix of Dressage and Jumper blood to make her shine in the show ring. She is loving and affectionate and has been handled daily since birth. PS As a yearling, Stella is continuing to have an impressive presence, her conformation is holding true, and her legs are very straight and correct. She will mature to about 16:2 hands.
