Awards

Rockin Horse Ranch is a strong participant in our region 9 Sporthorse competitions. We almost always walk away with several 1st and 2nd place ribbons, and regularly qualify for the Region 9 Championships each year. The classes are competitive and have strong participants. Below are our end of the year accomplishments and awards that we work very hard to achieve. I am very proud of our farm resume, and mostly of our wonderful horses.

October 2009 - Because of an extremely low filly turnout for the American Hanoverian Inspection, only a Colt Champion was named this year. However, Rhiannon RHR was deemed the best filly at our inspection, with many nice comments made about her from the inspectors. I am after long-last seriously pursuing dressage riding. I am learning a ton, and having the time of my life!

January 2009 - With two super prospects on the way for the spring, we are excited about the upcoming year. Frieda will have a foal by Rubino Bellissimo, hoping for as good of cross as last time. And, Dunin', now a permanent part of our clan, will offer a Sinatra Song lovely sometime in May. We have retired Gelieb, after one more try in 2009 to get her in foal.

January 2008 - We are expecting 3 outstanding foals in 2008. Whole Lotta Love is in foal to Sinatra Song. Gelieb will have a foal by Bonheur. And, our visiting mare, Dunnin', will have a foal by Rascalino. We are looking forward to a great trio of babies this year! Check back often for updates and pictures as these foals make their debut in 2008.

December 2007 - Whole Lotta Love was awarded the USDF GOV 4 year and Older Yeld/Maiden Mare Reserve Champion for 2007. We are talking the Nation here, folks!! We are busting with pride over this award, and encourages us to pursue our goal of national recognition for our breeding program in the future.
